Musical theatre is a form that demands fluency in three distinct disciplines at once: singing, acting, and dancing, unified by the ability to serve a story and character through performance. It is one of the most technically demanding performing arts, requiring sustained physical and vocal training alongside the interpretive and emotional intelligence that the form demands. At its best, musical theatre is a form of communal storytelling that reaches across social divisions and creates experiences that audiences carry with them for years.
