About this course

Adult nursing is one of the most demanding and most rewarding professions in healthcare. Adult nurses care for people across the full lifespan from young adults to older people, in settings ranging from hospital wards and intensive care units to community clinics, care homes, and patients' own homes. The role requires clinical knowledge, technical skill, compassionate communication, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and dignity. It is a profession that combines science and humanity in equal measure. At Aberystwyth University, this three-year, full-time nursing degree prepares you for registration as an adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
