Adult nursing is the largest field of nursing practice, concerned with the care of people aged eighteen and over across the full range of health conditions and care settings. Registered nurses working in adult care support patients through acute illness, surgery, chronic conditions, cancer, mental health crises, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care, exercising professional judgement, delivering clinical interventions, and coordinating care in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team.
