Welsh is one of Europe's oldest living languages, with a literary and theatrical tradition stretching from the medieval period to a vigorous contemporary scene in which Welsh-language television, film, theatre, and digital media all play significant roles. Studying Welsh alongside theatre and media prepares you for participation in that culture, both as a critical thinker and as a practitioner.
