As a cyber security management and governance specialist, you are responsible for keeping an organization's digital systems and information safe from cyber attacks. Your work involves spotting weaknesses in the systems and finding ways to fix them before attackers can take advantage. When a security problem does happen, you lead the team to stop the attack, fix the damage and prevent it happening again. You also train staff to spot warning signs and help them understand why security matters. The work is fast-paced and you need to stay up to date with new threats and new ways to defend against them.
