The role
What a medical and dental technicians n.e.c. actually does, day to day.
As a Medical and Dental Technician, you use your hands and your eye for detail to make equipment that helps patients. You work with dentists and doctors to understand exactly what they need, then you design and build devices from materials like metals, ceramics and plastics. Every crown you make or hearing aid you fit helps someone hear better or smile with confidence.
Your day involves mixing hands-on work with problem-solving. You might be casting a denture, using special tools to shape a bridge for someone's teeth, or testing a piece of equipment to make sure it meets safety rules. You work closely with the dentists and doctors who will use what you make, checking their feedback and adjusting your work to get it just right.
