Law and Professional Welsh is a degree that reflects the particular character of contemporary Wales as a bilingual nation with its own growing body of law and its own legal context. Since the creation of the National Assembly for Wales and the subsequent devolution of legislative powers to the Senedd, Welsh law has developed as a distinct and expanding area, creating genuine demand for lawyers who can operate both in English and Welsh and who understand the legal framework of a devolved Wales. This programme is designed to meet that need.
