About this course

Adult nursing is the branch of the nursing profession concerned with the care of people throughout the adult lifespan, from young adults to the elderly, in settings that range from acute hospital wards and intensive care units to GP surgeries, care homes, and people's own homes. Adult nurses assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for people experiencing a wide range of physical health conditions, from acute illness and injury to chronic conditions, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care.
