Adult nursing is one of the most directly consequential careers there is, concerned with the assessment, care, and treatment of adult patients across an enormous range of clinical settings and conditions. Nurses are often the healthcare professionals who spend the most time with patients, coordinating their care, administering treatments, monitoring their condition, providing emotional support, and communicating with families and the wider clinical team.
