About this course
Physics with space science is a programme that brings together the fundamental laws of the physical universe with one of the most exciting applications of those laws: the exploration and understanding of space. Physics provides the rigorous theoretical and mathematical foundation, while space science opens questions about the cosmos that push those foundations to their limits, from the dynamics of planets and stars to the large-scale structure of the universe and the engineering of the systems that allow human beings to explore it. At Leicester, a university with an internationally recognised tradition in space research and instrumentation, this three-year full-time programme builds a strong foundation in classical and modern physics alongside specialist study in areas including space astronomy, Earth observation, rocket propulsion, and human spaceflight. You will develop the mathematic
