About this course

Culture, environment, and social change is an interdisciplinary degree that addresses some of the defining challenges of the contemporary world. Climate change, resource depletion, mass migration, social inequality, and the transformation of communities and identities in a globalising world are not problems that any single discipline can address adequately. This degree draws on geography, sociology, cultural studies, environmental science, and political theory to give you the analytical tools to understand these challenges across different scales and from multiple perspectives.
