About this course
Environment and sustainability is a degree that addresses the most pressing challenge facing humanity: how to understand and respond to the accelerating changes in the Earth's natural systems driven by human activity, from climate change and biodiversity loss to pollution, resource depletion, and land use change. It draws on the natural sciences, social sciences, and policy studies to give you both the scientific understanding of what is happening to the environment and the social and political knowledge of why those changes are occurring and how they might be managed.
