About this course
Game art is the discipline concerned with creating the visual assets that bring digital games to life: characters, environments, props, user interfaces, and the conceptual work that establishes the aesthetic direction of a game before production begins. Game artists need to understand not only how to create assets that are visually compelling but how to produce them efficiently within the technical constraints of game engines and platform specifications. At Wrexham this programme includes a foundation year, which gives you a preparatory stage to develop your artistic and technical foundations before you enter the main degree. A
