Construction project management is the discipline of planning, coordinating, and delivering built environment projects from inception through to completion. It sits at the interface between technical construction knowledge and the management skills needed to bring complex, multi-stakeholder projects in on time and within budget. Construction project managers work on everything from commercial developments and infrastructure projects to housing, schools, hospitals, and major regeneration schemes, and the role requires both technical understanding and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
