About this course

Economics with accounting is a combination that develops two complementary sets of skills: the analytical and theoretical tools of economics for understanding how markets, firms, and economies work, and the technical financial skills of accounting for recording, reporting, and interpreting what organisations actually do. Together they provide an unusually strong platform for careers in finance, accountancy, and banking, where the ability to move between macro-level economic reasoning and the detailed reality of financial statements is genuinely valuable.
