Business economics and data analytics is a degree that brings together the theoretical rigour of economics with the practical skills needed to work with data at scale. Economics provides the conceptual framework for understanding how businesses, markets, and economies behave: the principles of supply and demand, the analysis of incentives, the modelling of market structures, and the evaluation of policy. Data analytics provides the tools to test and apply those frameworks against real data: statistical analysis, programming, visualisation, and the quantitative methods used in commercial and economic research. Together they produce graduates who can both think clearly about economic questions and handle the evidence needed to answer them.
