Media production is the practical discipline of making content for film, television, digital platforms, radio, podcasting and social media, combining creative vision with the technical skills and professional processes needed to bring that vision to screen, speaker or stream. It is a field that has been dramatically transformed by digital technology and the proliferation of platforms, creating new possibilities for independent production alongside the established routes through broadcasters and studios.
