About this course

Architecture is the art and science of designing the spaces in which human life is lived. It encompasses far more than the aesthetics of buildings: it is concerned with how the built environment shapes behaviour, wellbeing, social interaction, and our relationship with the natural world. Architects must be simultaneously creative and analytical, capable of generating bold spatial ideas and translating them into technically precise, buildable designs that satisfy planning requirements, structural demands, environmental constraints, and the practical needs of their clients and users.
