Adult nursing is one of the most wide-ranging healthcare professions, requiring both scientific knowledge and the ability to care for people across the full span of adult life, in acute wards, community settings, mental health environments, and long-term care. Pre-registration training prepares you to meet the standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, qualifying you to practise safely and to continue developing throughout a career that can take many different directions.
