Physics with Renewable Energy is a degree that takes the rigorous scientific foundations of physics and directs them towards one of the most pressing practical challenges of the twenty-first century: developing the clean energy systems that will power a sustainable future. Physics provides the theoretical and experimental tools needed to understand how energy is generated, converted, stored, and used, while the renewable energy strand applies those tools to the specific technologies and challenges of solar, wind, hydroelectric, and bioenergy systems.
