Pharmacy is the healthcare profession concerned with the science, development, and safe use of medicines. Pharmacists play a crucial role across the healthcare system, from counselling patients on the safe use of their medications to advising clinical teams on complex drug regimens, from working in community pharmacy settings to conducting research in the pharmaceutical industry. The degree combines a rigorous scientific education in chemistry, pharmacology, physiology, and pharmaceutical sciences with the clinical and professional knowledge needed to practise as a registered healthcare professional.
