Construction management is the discipline that brings together the technical knowledge of building and civil engineering with the commercial, contractual, and managerial skills needed to deliver complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Construction projects involve coordination among architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities, and effective construction managers must be capable of managing these relationships alongside the practical challenges of site operations, procurement, health and safety, and programme management.
