About this course
Dentistry is one of the most directly patient-centred healthcare professions, concerned with preventing and treating diseases and conditions affecting the teeth, mouth, and associated structures. Dentists provide a wide range of care, from routine examinations, hygiene advice, and restorations to more complex procedures in oral surgery, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. They work with patients across all age groups, often building long-term relationships that combine clinical skill with genuine sensitivity to individual needs, anxieties, and circumstances. At King's College London this five-year full-time BDS programme combines the very latest thinking in dental education with early clinical experience, situating students in a rich and diverse clinical environment from an early stage of their training. You will be taught by experienced staff with a strong international background
