Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation is a discipline that sits at the intersection of exercise science, sports medicine and performance coaching. It applies knowledge of physiology, biomechanics, motor learning and anatomy to the systematic development of physical qualities, including strength, power, speed, endurance and movement quality, as well as to the management and rehabilitation of injury. Practitioners in this field work with athletes and active populations at all levels, from grassroots community sport to elite performance, as well as with clinical populations recovering from injury or surgery.
