Drama and theatre is the study and practice of performance: how stories are told through bodies, voices, space, and time, and what this mode of expression reveals about human experience that other art forms cannot. It is a discipline that combines creative practice with critical enquiry, asking you both to make work and to think rigorously about the history, theory, and politics of theatre-making. Drama and theatre develops confidence, collaboration, imagination, and the ability to communicate powerfully, which is why people drawn to it often thrive in roles that demand all of those qualities at once.
