About this course

Midwifery is a profession built on the principle that pregnancy and childbirth are normal life events that deserve expert, compassionate, and woman-centred care. Midwives are autonomous practitioners who provide care to women throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period, and who work closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals when additional clinical support is needed.
