Sports rehabilitation is a specialist allied health discipline focused on the assessment, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal injuries in athletic and physically active populations. It draws on anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and clinical reasoning to develop practitioners who can identify the nature and cause of an injury, design and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programmes, and support athletes in returning safely to their sport or activity.
