Football coaching and performance specialism is a discipline that takes the sport seriously as both a technical and a human endeavour, combining the science of athletic preparation and performance analysis with the practical and relational skills of coaching. At Wrexham University, this three-year full-time degree includes a foundation year and is underpinned by strong working relationships with Wrexham AFC, the Football Association of Wales and other leading football organisations, giving you access to real coaching environments and professional networks from the earliest stages of your studies. You will study the physiology and biomechanics of athletic performance in football, the psychology of coaching and player development, tactical and technical analysis, strength and conditioning principles, and the organisational and ethical dimensions of working in professional football environ
