Medicine is one of the most intellectually demanding and personally significant degrees you can undertake. It asks you to master a substantial body of scientific knowledge, to develop the clinical skills to apply that knowledge with sick people, and to cultivate the professional judgement, communication skills and ethical reasoning that safe and compassionate practice requires.
