Energy engineering equips graduates to address one of the defining technical and social challenges of the present: designing and building the energy systems that will power societies while meeting ambitious targets for decarbonisation and sustainability. It draws on mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering principles and applies them to the generation, distribution, storage, and efficient use of energy, with increasing focus on renewable technologies and the engineering dimensions of the transition away from fossil fuels.
