Dual registration nursing in children and young people and mental health is a distinctive programme that prepares nurses to practise in two fields simultaneously, recognising that the needs of children and young people and the needs of those with mental health conditions frequently overlap and that nurses who understand both fields are better equipped to provide effective person-centred care. At Robert Gordon University, this four-year full-time degree is designed to meet genuine clinical demand for nurses with dual competence, and it qualifies you to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council in both children and young people's nursing and mental health nursing on graduation.
