About this course

Adult nursing is the branch of nursing that provides care for people from young adulthood through old age across the full spectrum of health conditions, from acute medical and surgical illness to long-term conditions, mental health challenges and end-of-life care. Adult nurses are the largest group of registered nurses in the UK, working in hospitals, community settings, general practices, care homes and specialist services, and they are central to the delivery of healthcare in the NHS and beyond.
