About this course

Paramedic science is about responding to people in crisis, often in chaotic, high-pressure environments, with the knowledge and judgement to make clinical decisions that can change outcomes. Paramedics are primary care practitioners who assess, treat, and stabilise patients before or during transport to hospital, and who increasingly provide definitive care in the community. The discipline combines clinical science with practical skill, human compassion, and the ability to remain effective under pressure. At Hull this three-year full-time degree gives you the hands-on training you need to develop into a confident and competent practitioner.
