About this course
Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) play a key role in raising educational achievement by leading and coordinating support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN). As an experienced teacher passionate about SEN, you will guide staff, collaborate with parents and professionals, and help shape strategies to support pupils in reaching their full potential. Your responsibilities may include developing school-wide strategies, teaching, and delivering interventions inside and outside the classroom. SENCOs may work within a single school or across multiple schools.
