Mathematics and computer science at the University of Oxford is one of the most intellectually demanding undergraduate programmes in the world. The two disciplines are deeply connected: computer science emerged from mathematics, and the most important advances in computation, from the theory of algorithms to machine learning and cryptography, rest on mathematical foundations.
