Mental health nursing is a profession dedicated to supporting people experiencing the full spectrum of mental health difficulties, from common conditions such as anxiety and depression to more complex presentations including psychosis, eating disorders, and personality disorder. Mental health nurses build therapeutic relationships with service users, carry out assessments, coordinate care, administer and monitor medication, and support people toward recovery.
