Theology, religion, and philosophy of religion is a field of study that takes seriously some of the most profound questions human beings have ever asked: Does God exist? What is the nature of the sacred? How should we live? What can we know about ultimate reality? It brings together the rigorous textual and historical scholarship of theology and religious studies with the analytical philosophical tradition, developing students who can engage both critically and sympathetically with the great religious traditions and with the philosophical arguments that have grown up around them.
