About this course

Business and economics is a degree that combines the analytical framework of economics with the applied perspectives of business and management, giving you the intellectual depth to understand markets, organisations, and commercial strategy from multiple angles. Economics develops formal models of how agents make decisions and how those decisions produce market outcomes, price signals, and macroeconomic dynamics. Business and management study brings the institutional and organisational context in which economic decisions are actually made, covering strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and the human dimensions of organisational life. Together the two disciplines develop graduates who can think rigorously about commercial questions and communicate that thinking effectively.
