Construction project management is the discipline that coordinates and controls the complex processes involved in delivering built environment projects, from small commercial developments to major infrastructure schemes. It brings together knowledge of construction technology, engineering, contract law, procurement, planning, risk management, sustainability and the leadership skills required to guide multidisciplinary teams through projects that often span years, involve many stakeholders and are subject to changing conditions.
