About this course

Economics with Finance brings together two disciplines that are deeply interconnected in practice. Economics provides the theoretical and empirical tools to understand how markets, institutions, and policies shape resource allocation, growth, and distribution at every scale from the household to the global economy. Finance examines how capital is raised, allocated, and priced within those economic systems, and how individuals and organisations manage risk and return over time. Studying them together gives you a more complete picture than either alone, and it prepares you for a wide range of careers where both perspectives are valued.
