About this course

Fine art is the practice of making work that operates in the space between ideas and materials, using drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, video, installation, or digital media to engage with questions that cannot be resolved through words alone. It is a discipline that demands both technical skill and conceptual rigour, and that asks students to develop a genuine and personal relationship with their own practice rather than simply learning a set of techniques. At its best, fine art education transforms how you see, think, and make.
