French and Spanish are two of the world's most widely spoken languages, together giving access to communities across five continents and to two of Europe's richest literary and cultural traditions. French is the language of Moliere, Proust, and Camus, of Enlightenment philosophy, of international diplomacy, and of vibrant contemporary cultures across France, sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond. Spanish opens the vast and diverse world of Latin American literature and culture alongside Spain's own extraordinary artistic heritage. Studying both together deepens your sense of how languages shape thought and culture and gives you genuine versatility in a multilingual professional world.
