Dual-field nursing in adult and mental health is a demanding and distinctive programme that prepares you to register as a qualified nurse in two of nursing's four fields simultaneously. Adult nursing is concerned with the care of people from young adulthood through old age, addressing acute illness, long-term conditions, surgery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care in hospital and community settings. Mental health nursing focuses on the care and support of people experiencing mental health conditions, from depression and anxiety to psychosis and personality disorders, working across inpatient, crisis, and community mental health services.
