About this course

Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behaviour, examining how we perceive, think, feel, learn, develop, and relate to others. Sport and exercise psychology applies those foundations to the specific contexts of athletic performance, physical activity, and exercise behaviour, asking how mental processes influence sporting achievement, how psychological skills can be developed and applied, what motivates people to exercise, and how physical activity benefits psychological health.
