About this course
Sport and exercise science is the scientific study of human physical performance and the role of exercise in health and wellbeing. It draws together physiology, biomechanics, and psychology to understand how the body responds to physical demands, how training and exercise improve fitness and performance, and how sport and physical activity contribute to mental and physical health throughout life. The discipline is both academically rigorous and practically orientated, preparing graduates for careers in sport, health, and related applied fields.
