Business Management with Law
BA · Leeds Beckett University
About this course
Business management and law is a combination that makes sense because in practice the two are inseparable. Every significant business decision, from hiring and contracting through to mergers, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance, is shaped by legal frameworks. Understanding those frameworks from the inside, not just as an external constraint but as a tool for structuring relationships and managing risk, makes you a more effective manager and a more valuable professional. At Leeds Beckett University, this part-time programme develops both sets of skills in parallel. You will study the core areas of business management including strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and organisational behaviour alongside the legal areas most relevant to commercial and corporate life, including contract law, company law, employment law, and commercial regulation.
