English literature, creative writing, and Spanish is a combination that brings together three powerful ways of engaging with language and culture. Literary study develops your understanding of how meaning is made and communicated across different forms and periods. Creative writing invites you to develop your own voice and craft, to write with intention and with an audience in mind. Spanish opens access to the literatures and cultures of Spain and Latin America, a vast and varied tradition encompassing some of the most influential writing in world literature.
