Sports journalism brings together a passion for sport with the professional skills and editorial judgement of journalism, producing communicators who can cover the world of sport with depth, accuracy, and engagement for a range of audiences and platforms. Sport is one of the most consumed areas of media output, spanning news, features, analysis, broadcasting, podcasting, and digital content, and the journalists who cover it need not just enthusiasm but the rigorous training in reporting, writing, and ethical practice that all journalism demands.
