About this course
Geography at Sheffield develops in you the analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand the dynamic forces shaping our planet and to engage seriously with the challenge of the climate crisis. It combines the study of physical processes, including geomorphology, hydrology, climate science, and ecology, with human geography, including urban development, migration, inequality, and political economy, developing a genuinely integrative understanding of how the physical and human worlds interact. At the University of Sheffield, this three-year full-time programme is taught by world-leading researchers whose work on topics including climate change, environmental hazards, urban resilience, and development is directly reflected in the curriculum.
