Landscape architecture and design is concerned with the planning, design, and management of outdoor spaces, from urban parks, streets, and squares to waterfronts, rural landscapes, and ecological restoration projects. It is a discipline that combines creative vision with technical expertise and environmental understanding, asking how we can shape the spaces between buildings to be healthier, more sustainable, and more pleasurable for the people who use them.
